Project 3 | Colour, Light, Movement, Frame

[Colour]
For this clip I focused on a bag of old toys that I got from a garage sale on campus. The colorfulness reminded me of how vibrant and and happy childhood is,   so I thought it would be an interesting approach for this assignment. (Even though I know this is a little bit off topic. This project is only supposed to be focusing on the technical level of things. But since this blog is a "diary-like" form , I just jotted down whatever's on my mind.)

[Light]
The idea for this clip was actually inspired from the first clip. I was thinking about the word "childhood" and the light clip at the same time, the image of a horror movie just popped into my head. I feel like we all have experiences that is related to horror films when we're kids. Whether it's from accidentally peeping at what your parents are watching,   deliberately watching one because you're curious, or was introduced one by an older sibling. Anyways I wanted to make it look like something ominous came through your door after you went to bed.

[Movement]
Don't have much to say about this one.
It's just a burrito.

[Frame]
As for the frame clip, I went with the still approach because I feel like it really shows how information can be limited by manipulating the things you capture with a lens. I really enjoyed this clip a lot. Staring at it is somehow very relaxing to me.
